The sheets are produced using an electro-colouring system (INCO).
The formation of different colours occurs by interference, exploiting the phase differences between rays reflected from the various oxide layers formed during treatment and those reflected from the underlying metal surface.
The distinctive feature of interference colouring is that it alters the surface appearance of stainless-steel without the use of paints or coatings. This approach offers clear advantages, foremost among them enhanced resistance to corrosion.
